Leading the upcoming
Microbial Revolution

Technology

Nature has developed microbial consortia to achieve complex functions with a great stability. Nature is doing it everyday, the crafts too but industy cant’. We are the missing brick between your strains of interest and your functional consortia

How do we shape microbial life to make it powerfull ?

High troughput screening

The Microbial Evolution Machine (MEM) has 300+ bioreactors perfectly sized to spot and evolve whole communities. Our system allows to do microbial screenings targeted over a vast array of functions.

Darwinian evolution monitored within the droplet trains

Thanks to our digital milifluidics know-how, we monitor and pilot the evolution of microbials or consortia through data-driven decision making. Optical sensors accumulate real-time evolutionnary data triggering reproduction or elimination.

Stabilisation and volume scaling of the selected consortia

After the evolution phase, we are able to assess the top-performing and stabilised microbials or consortia. We insure they are ready for production at an industrial scale through the downsizing of final conditions within our system and by developping scale-up protocols.

Becoming the reference in directed evolution

Revobiom has revolutionized the control of Darwinian evolution with its cutting-edge technology, the Microbial Evolution Machine (MEM). Originating from a 15+ years of fundamental research at ESPCI, Revobiom has a 10 patents portofolio including 2 core ones securing the innovation. The ambition is clear: bring new powerfull options to the industry outside of GMO.

Our trusting partners

About us

Founded in July 2022 and incubated at ESPCI, Revobiom has been growing ever since, driven by its commercial and technological successes. With a team of 6 people and winner of several competitions, including notably I-lab 2023, we continue our quest for the upcoming microbiological revolution
